At ART OF INJECTIONS, lip augmentation is our area of expertise. Our ultimate goal is to see the joy in our patients' eyes when they finally achieve the perfect lip shape they've always wanted! With a deep understanding of facial anatomy, Jen, our experienced injector, utilizes a personalized approach based on individual client needs. She takes into account factors such as age, skin type, and the unique features of each client's lips, eyes, eyebrows, nose, cheeks, and chin, tailoring her techniques accordingly. The injector must be like a sculptor, knowing what looks beautiful on one face and not on another, to create the most natural and harmonious results.
"RUSSIAN LIPS"
With the Russian lip technique, the injections are administered vertically into the base of the lip, drawing out to the outer edge. The lips will be shaped to lift or flip the lip, rather than add excessive volume. IMPORTANT: If you are interested in trying out a pair of Russian lips, it is important to note that it's preferred to have a fresh canvas to work with, meaning your previous lip fillers, if had, will need to be dissolved first, roughly two weeks in advance. This ensures that the injected volume will be solely based in the center of the lips. (Note: dissolving doesn't apply if you already have Russian lip fillers, and are touching up and/or adding to them).
"FRENCH LIPS"
One of the most popular techniques used in lip augmentation is known as the FRENCH TECHNIQUE, or ‘French Method’. This lip filler technique optimizes the vertical length of the upper and lower lips. Using French technique, injector is volumizing the pink mucosa of the lips and decreasing the distance from the cupid’s bow to the nose. This micro-injection technique provides more definition to the cupid’s bow, right and left apices of the upper lips, and central peak. The lower lips are also optimized by increasing vertical fullness in the middle two thirds of the lip.
LIP FLIP
The lip flip is a treatment that involves injecting Dysport, an injectable similar to Botox, into the muscle just above the upper lip. This will cause the muscle to relax temporarily, and the upper lip to roll slightly outward.
INJECTION TECHNIQUES
It is important to consult with a highly trained and experienced injector before undergoing lip augmentation. Clients come to us and complain that they cannot get the desired result in other clinics. Unfortunately, it happens quite often. Filler injection techniques are constantly changing, and an experienced injector uses an individual set of safe techniques to achieve the beautifying result, depending on the shape of the client’s lips and face. Some injectors prefer to use two or three old, well-known techniques. It is NOT the case at Art of Injections clinic! Using the newest techniques, in most cases you can get the exact lip shape you dream of!
